Euro 2020 qualifiers: Germany 6-1 Northern Ireland, Wales 2-0 Hungary and more

After a career in top-level football spanning nearly three decades, Ryan Giggs will finally fulfil his dream of competing at a major tournament with Wales.

What Giggs could not manage as a player, he has achieved as a coach, as Aaron Ramsey’s two goals – on his first competitive start since September 2018 – ensured Wales secured the victory over Hungary they needed to qualify automatically for Euro 2020 next summer.

The group stage phase of the Euro 2020 qualifiers comes to an end and Wales are among the last sides hoping to book an automatic spot at next summer’s finals.

Ryan Giggs’ side host Hungary at the Cardiff City Stadium knowing that only victory will do if they wish to avoid the play-offs to qualify for the European Championship. Hungary and Slovakia will also be hoping to progress along with Croatia from Group E.

Northern Ireland and Scotland also round up their qualifying campaign and while they can not qualify from their respective groups, they will be keen to build towards the play-offs to seal the final berths for Euro 2020. Follow all the action from the 7.45pm kick-offs right here.
