Liverpool continue to be linked with a host of players, as Jurgen Klopp takes a view on whether to strengthen his squad when the transfer window opens.
As fresh rumours about the potential new Anfield arrivals continue to surface, we have taken a look at the latest pieces of gossip to see what they could mean for the Reds.
Kai Havertz, Bayer Leverkusen midfielder.
According to according to DW as cited by the Express , the Reds are monitoring the 21-year-old ahead of making a potential move this summer.
The report adds that Chelsea are leading the race to sign Havertz from Leverkusen, with Barcelona, Manchester City and Paris-Saint Germain also said to be interested in his services.
Havertz is currently rated at around €100m which may, in the current financial climate, put the likes of Liverpool off.
He is a player that has been tentatively linked with a move to Anfield in the past, but it seems to be a rumour that won’t go away just yet.

Thiago Alcantara, Bayern Munich midfielder.
Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick will allow Thiago Alcantara to make up his own mind regarding his future.
The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in the past week.
“Both of them (David Alaba and Thiago) know what I think of them.” Flick told Goal .
“We will give them time to think. I try to support as a coach and as an advisor.
“Ultimately, the player has to decide what he wants. We have to respect that.”

Despite the continuing reports, the ECHO understands Liverpool have no plans of making a move for the player at this present time.
Kalidou Koulibaly, Napoli centre-back.
According to The Telegraph, the Reds remain interested in signing Koulibaly this summer, as they are in need of a new centre-back.
The report goes on to say that Napoli will allow Koulibaly to leave, once they have signed striker Victor Osimhen from Lille.
Osimhen is expected to move in a £70m, and the report claims that Koulibaly would fetch a similar figure.
Koulibaly has been linked with a far-fetch move to Anfield for a number of months, but it still remains very unlikely that a deal will happen.
