Chris David Has Parted Ways With Cape Town City
The Siya crew has learnt that Cape Town City have parted ways with yet another midfielder.
The Citizens confirmed the departure of Roland Putsche last month, who left the Citizens a year before the expiry date of his contract, where he’s since returned home to Austria.

Now, the Siya crew has been informed that Chris David is the latest player to follow Putsche through the exit door, with sources revealing that the player has since returned to the Netherlands after negotiations for his clearance.
David joined the Mother City outfit as a free agent back in February 2019 and made a good first impression in South Africa’s top-flight, though constant injury struggles have stood in the way of his progress.

Now, after just 19 domestic appearances for the Citizens, the Siya crew can confirm that David, who had a contract until 2021, has officially left City and an official announcement about his exit is expected to be made by the club soon.
