Spurs ‘in talks’ over Skriniar-Ndombele deal

It seems like swap deals may be the theme of the summer transfer window due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

And according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Tottenham and Inter Milan are in discussions over a deal which would see Milan Skriniar and Tanguy Ndombele swap clubs.

The 23-year-old, a record signing from Lyon in 2019, has struggled to make an impression for the north London club and has barely featured under Jose Mourinho, with Barcelona also interested in the Frenchman.

However, Standard Sport understands Tottenham are keen to keep Ndombele, recognising the 23-year-old needs more time to adapt after a difficult debut season in England.


Juve to offer Bernardeschi for Smalling

Reports in Italy suggest Juventus are keen on stealing a march on Roma by snapping up Chris Smalling from Manchester United.

Roma have so far failed to reach an agreement with United over a loan extension after the 30-year-old’s impressive loan stint at the Stadio Olimpico.
