West Brom willing to listen to offers

West Brom are willing to listen to offers for Kieran Gibbs, Kenneth Zohore and Oliver Burke as they rebuild following promotion.

Ex-Arsenal left-back Gibbs,30, is due to have wages double to £55,000-a-week following promotion and only made 15 appearances last season.

He is likely to go as Albion are targeting Wigan’s USA defender Antonee Robinson, 22, following the Latics’ relegation to League One.

Striker Zohore,26, also struggled for a first team spot last season while Burke,23, was loaned to Alaves.

The Baggies’ fringe players such as Sam Field and Jonathan Leko are to be made available as well.

Albion’s promotion back to the Premier League has helped stopped their alarming talent drain.

They have previously seen England starlet Morgan Rodgers,18, quit last summer for Manchester City for £4million compensation when his contract expired.

England U17 striker Louie Barry also walked out last summer to Barcelona only to sign for Aston Villa in January. But star midfielderRico Richards,16, has signed a new three-year contract to stay at The Hawthorns.

New academy manager Richard Stevens said: “It’s not a secret that we have lost some young players to other clubs in recent times.“But this shows the continuing commitment of the club to the programme and it’s great for the academy to see that the pathway for elite young footballers remains clear.”
