Euro 2016 has reached its third day, and the world champions Germany have finally arrived on the scene. Joachim Low’s side take on Ukraine as they look to continue their recent excellent form in international competition, although they have struggled in their recent warm-up ties.

It will also be a momentous day for Northern Ireland, who will take part in an international tournament for the first time in a generation. They will have to contain Poland and fearsome striker Robert Lewandowski, who will be relied upon to fire Adam Nawalka’s side to success.

Earlier on Croatia’s midfield star Luka Modric was the difference against Tutkey, scoring a delightful volley at Parc des Princes to secure a 1-0 win.
