Top soccer transfer news – July 2020 – onevalefan.co.uk

Things certainly seem a little strange right now in the transfer market.

Usually, at this time of year, soccer has wound down, and we are all checking out the transfer news ahead of the next season. However, 2020 is a year like no other, as we can all probably agree. Transfers are coming in thick and fast right now, and most seasons have not even ended yet due to the turmoil caused by COVID-19.

With this in mind, let’s take a look at the hottest transfer news right now. Some of these moves really will be quite pivotal ahead of the 2020/2021 soccer season and may affect Soccer betting odds. Let’s check them out.

Sane to Bayern Munich

Sane has been a key player for Manchester City during his time, yet he’s now leaving for a new challenge. The announcement came on July 3rd that the Champions of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich, have snatched up Mane for a rather hefty sum of £54.8 million. This is one of the more notable transfers of late, and the move did come as a bit of a surprise for soccer fans around the world.

As it happens, this announcement came after Manchester City managed to blitz the Champions, Liverpool, 4-0 at home on July 2nd. Sane, a young German international, says that Bayern Munich will suit his professional needs, and clearly, the move takes him much closer to home. With Munich already looking dangerous, the addition of Sane will only bolster their ranks and strengthen their squad all the more.

Arthur to Juventus

The Mane transfer might have put a few dollar signs in your eye, but this one was even more impressive. Juventus bought Arthur from Barcelona for a staggering £66 million, and the news was made official on June 28th. This came as a bit of a surprise to many, especially considering that he only arrived at Barcelona a couple of years ago. Having put in a series of stellar performances for the mighty Barcelona in the last two seasons, it would seem that he now fancies his chances at Juventus.

He’s still only 23 years old, and this Brazilian star will no doubt be making the move in the hope of Italian glory, of which there could be plenty when he plays alongside Ronaldo! The move won’t actually be completed until both Serie A and La Liga reach a conclusion, but still, this is big news in the soccer world. It’s even bigger news that this transfer has been agreed amidst the rumours of a Messi transfer too, which wouldn’t be great news for Barcelona.

Timo Werner to Chelsea

Chelsea were once the champions of England and hold the record for most successive victories at the beginning of the Premier League, yet in recent years, it would appear that they have slipped in their standard. Having gone through a few different managers, and even more players, they do seem to be finding their range a bit as the Premier League draws to a close. They managed to grab a huge victory against Manchester City in a recent game, and it was actually this victory that sealed Liverpool as Champions.

Now, back to the actual…
