Jadon Sancho ‘may have to hand in a transfer request at Borussia Dortmund’ to force through his Manchester United move after Germans insisted the England winger is staying
- Jadon Sancho was optimistic of a deal with Manchester United being completed
- But he is now in limbo after Borussia Dortmund insisted he is not leaving the club
- He may now have to submit a transfer request or demand to leave Germany
- Man United are also frustrated with Dortmund and Sancho’s representatives
The 20-year-old winger was reportedly optimistic of a deal being completed last week but has since been left in a frustrating limbo with Dortmund insisting he is staying put.
And with the deal now having reached a major stumbling block, The Sun claim that Sancho is feeling helpless and is now facing the dilemma of whether to acrimoniously force his way out by handing in a transfer request or demanding to leave.

As stated by Sportsmail on Monday, Sancho is not the only frustrated party in negotiations, with United increasingly irritated with the England international’s representatives as well as the Bundesliga side’s refusal to deal with them directly.
The German outfit have appointed an agent as an intermediary to negotiate with United and have rejected their offer of £70million potentially rising to £110m depending on honours and appearances.
The report also adds Sancho’s representatives have also snubbed United’s contract bid, with the Dortmund winger wanting a figure closer to £250,000 as opposed to the £220,000 currently being offered to him at Old Trafford.
However, as stated by Sportsmail, United will not give up in their pursuit of Sancho and will look to continue negotiations with the hope of finding a way of resurrecting the deal.

Dortmund chief Michael Zorc was dismissive when asked about Sancho’s future after the club arrived in Switzerland, saying any deal with United was off after their deadline passed, with the players travelling to Switzerland for a pre-season training camp.
