Aouar ‘flattered’ by Man City links
Houssem Aouar says he is flattered to be linked with Manchester City, but remains fully focused on Lyon ahead of tomorrow night’s Champions League quarter-final.
The French Under-21 international has been mentioned in connection with Pep Guardiola’s side in the run-up to Saturday’s big showdown in Lisbon, while Arsenal and Juventus have also been linked with a player said to be valued at around the £44m mark.
“I don’t know if it is a job interview,” Aouar said in a pre-match press conference on Friday. “It’s flattering to be linked but it’s a bit off-topic.
“I am fully focused on Lyon because these are really important matches.”
