The Potters kicked off their season on Saturday with a penalty shoot-out victory over Blackpool in the opening round of the Carabao Cup.

Michael O’Neill’s men get their 2020-21 Sky Bet Championship campaign under way on Saturday, September 12, away to Gary Rowett’s Millwall.

Before then, Stoke continue their preparations with two friendly fixtures against Premier League opposition. They beat Leeds United 3-0 behind closed doors at the bet365 Stadium on Tuesday (September 1), and take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday (September 5).

In the meantime, Stoke will be looking to do more business in the summer transfer window.
