Transfer news live as Man Utd chase Reguilon and three Chelsea stars near exit

West Ham offered Diangana replacement

West Ham have been offered Benfica winger Jota Felipe as a readymade replacement for Grady Diangana.

Valencia are currently leading the race to sign the Portugal Under 21 international, who had agreed a loan move to Spain.

But the Hammers have also now been sounded out, with Everton also among a list of clubs to express an interest in the 21-year-old.

Jota, who signed a new contract with Benfica in January, made 19 appearances for the Portuguese club last season, mostly off the bench.

He also played in the Champions League and Europa League.

Predominantly a right winger, he can also play on the left, and fits the age profile of the sort of player Hammers boss David Moyes wants at London Stadium.

Moyes was reluctant to let rising star Diangana leave West Ham in a deal worth a minimum of £18m.

But with West Ham planning to use that money to sign an experienced central defender, any move for Jota would have to be a loan.
