According to recent reports published by the Liverpool Echo, Harry Wilson is all set to leave Liverpool on a permanent deal.
Liverpool are presently in talks with Burnley over the transfer of Harry Wilson who spent the 2019/20 on loan at Bournemouth. They were relegated on the final day of the season and would have probably been in for him if they weren’t demoted. After a strong set of performances in the top-flight, Burnley are looking to lure the player to Turf Moor.
Liverpool signed Diogo Jota from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a fee that could rise to £45million. The signing of the 23-year-old is considered as a cover and backup player for Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino.
Jota’s addition to the Liverpool side might have drawn the curtains over Harry Wilson’s Anfield career and others who occupy similar positions. Divock Origi and Rhian Brewster have also been earmarked for an Anfield exit this summer.
Apart from Burnley, Leeds United were keen to sign Wilson. However, Marcelo Bielsa seems to have other priorities at the moment and the Elland Road outfit is not pursuing a move for him any longer.
Liverpool are expected to hold out for a fee of £20 million but Burnley hopes to agree to a deal worth around £15 million for the Welsh international. With no competitors around at the moment, the Clarets are poised to prize the talented midfielder from Anfield.

Harry was always trying to impress Jurgen Klopp but has failed to do so during the German’s time as the manager of the club. All he could ever afford was a couple of repetitive loan moves.
The 23-year-old has scored quite a few screamers in his short career so far. Wilson’s long-range shooting and set-piece capabilities have been singled out for special praises and could really be used to full effect under Sean Dyche.
