Leeds defender Barry Douglas reportedly in talks with Watford – The Boot Room
Leeds United full-back Barry Douglas is reportedly in talks with Watford over a move to Vicarage Road.
The 31-year-old has emerged as a target for the Championship, with Scottish giants Celtic having also shown interest recently.
Douglas has had just one outing so far in 2020/21, which was in the EFL Cup against Hull City.

He is firmly behind Stuart Dallas in the pecking order at Elland Road, with Leif Davis also making his life difficult in terms on playing opportunities.
Marcelo Bielsea recently said that Douglas would be a useful player for him if he stuck around, but an exit before Monday does seem more likely than not, with talks supposedly at the advanced stage according to the Daily Mail.
The player has just eight months remaining on his contract and the Whites run the risk of losing him for free.
TBR’s View – The end of the road
It seems Douglas is likely on his way, and it can’t come as too much of a surprise given his lack of regular minutes.

That he looks like he won’t play in the Premier League with Leeds is a bit of a shame given how he has won the Championship with the Whites and also Wolves where he was brilliant.
But it is important for him to be playing regularly at his age though to allow him to continue playing for longer, rather than collecting rust.
