Report suggests Bielsa, Derby and Brentford target could leave; EFL move on
Sussex Live have listed a reported Leeds United, Derby County and Brentford target as one of three players who may be allowed to leave Brighton & Hove Albion on loan.
A domestic transfer window – which allows Premier League and English Football League clubs to continue doing business (although top-flight sides cannot trade with one another) – is in place until Friday, 16 October.
And it is suggested that the Brighton centre-back Haydon Roberts could head out on a temporary basis between now and then.

But while a move to Leeds is off-limits for now, Roberts would be allowed to join Derby or Brentford – all of whom were credited with an interest by The Telegraph earlier this year.
That being said, neither Derby nor Brentford are particularly short in the 18-year-old’s position, where the former have already added Brighton’s Matt Clarke this summer.
And other EFL options may yet be available to Roberts.
If he does leave on loan, the boyhood Brighton fan will be keen to emulate the success of Ben White – who starred for various clubs, including Leeds, before establishing himself at the heart of the Seagulls’ defence this season – away from the Amex Stadium.
Where should Brighton send the Leeds, Derby and Brentford-linked defender, if anywhere?
