Transfer Talk LIVE! West Ham sign Dawson, Benrahma talks continue


Welcome back to the Evening Standard’s LIVE coverage of the transfer window as head into the final few days of the domestic window.

Clubs in the UK will have until 5pm on Friday October 16 to complete signings in the extended domestic window, but the big, international moves had to be completed by 11pm BST on Monday.

Tottenham have entered talks with Swansea over Joe Rodon, while West Ham are closing in on a deal for Brentford’s Said Benrahma.


During the main window, Arsenal sealed a dramatic late deal for Thomas Partey after triggering his £45million release clause, following the news that Houssem Aouar would be staying at Lyon for another season.

Meanwhile, Manchester United announced four signings, with Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles and Facundo Pellistri confirmed with Amad Diallo Traore to join the club in January.

Moyes hails Dawson after ending centre-back search

West Ham manager David Moyes says is happy to have added Craig Dawson to his squad, with defence an area he has been looking to strengthen.
