Harrogate Town vs Hull City live from Wetherby Road

Welcome to Tuesday’s match night coverage of Hull City’s trip across Yorkshire to face Harrogate Town at Wetherby Road.

In the two months or so since the Tigers kicked the group stages off with a narrow defeat to Leicester City’s Under-23 side at the KCOM Stadium, City return to action with a new name above the competition.

It’s now known as the Papa John’s Trophy, and it seems somewhat fitting that City’s first game since the name change should be a first ever competitive visit to Harrogate Town.

Promoted to the Football League in August following a Wembley play-off final win over Notts County, Town have started the League Two campaign well and will surely be relishing the visit of Grant McCann’s men.

We’re expecting plenty of changes from the side which beat Fleetwood in the FA Cup on Saturday, though McCann has highlighted his determination to win both tonight and next Tuesday’s home tie with Grimsby Town to progress in the competition.

We’re live this evening to bring you full match coverage, from team news through to the live action followed by reaction from McCann and his dressing room.
