Portugal 0-1 France – Nations League RECAP: Kante is the difference maker

Portugal hosted France in Nations League action as Cristiano Ronaldo and Co looked for three points after holding Les Bleus to draw in reverse fixture. 

In a replay of the Euro 2016 final – won 1-0 by Portugal – both sides had the chance to seize the lead of Group A3 as they stood deadlocked on 10 points.  

Elsewhere, Spain visited Switzerland whilst Germany welcomed Ukraine, with Joachim Loew’s men needing victory to chase Spain – who sat a point ahead.
