SPONSORS WANT RONALDO
Manchester United have gone a few years without being linked with their former star Cristiano Ronaldo, but the rumour mill is churning again and it has emerged that the club’s shirt sponsors desperately want the Portuguese.
According to Auto Esporte, United’s shirt sponsors Chevrolet believe it would be so commercially viable that they would be willing to help finance a move for the Juventus forward.
Chevrolet has seen the positive impact of having Ronaldo promote products over the last two years during his time in Turin, with Juve’s shirt sponsor Jeep’s sales going up over that period.
Ronaldo’s arrival in 2018 also saw Juventus’ shares rose by 30 per cent on the Milan stock exchange after just a week.

“We have to maintain respect for others. He’s a Barcelona player. When somebody talks about our players, we are not happy. So we don’t touch other people’s players. Now is not the time to think about the transfer window.
“We are very happy with the squad we have. We are thinking of our season and the end of the first part of the season, which was very complicated.”
DOUBLE YOUR MONEY
After some incredible performances since joining the club in January, Bruno Fernandes is already being lined up for a new double-your-money contract.
The Daily Mirror are reporting that Fernandes is set for a wage hike to £200,000-a-week after scoring 22 times and assisting 14 further goals in just 37 games for the club.
He still has three and a half years remaining on the contract he…
