EFL pundit issues score verdict on Millwall v Preston North End

Millwall host Preston North End this evening in the Sky Bet Championship and David Prutton is predicting a draw between the two.

The Lions lost at Barnsley last time out to bring their undefeated run to an end in the league whilst Preston eased to a 3-o over Huddersfield Town.

They are level on points going into tonight’s game, then, and with them both 9 points off of the top six at the moment, it is obviously crucial for both to try and get a win if they still have play-off intentions.

However, Prutton is expecting a draw with him revealing in his Sky Sports prediction column that he is going for a 1-1 scoreline.

The Verdict

Preston haven’t drawn many games this season but the Lions certainly have and it looks as though Prutton is expecting that to continue at The New Den on Tuesday night.

Both sides still have a play-off chance this season but it’s going to take some going now to get into the top six and they’ll have to win a lot of games between now and the end of the campaign.

That said, then, a draw isn’t really a good result for either so we’ll have to see exactly what happens here.
